Technical Support Engineer
Due to the expansion of the company we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer, to work in a multi-disciplined area within the Engineering office for the production of cable assemblies, dealing with suppliers, customers and production staff. You will need a good engineering knowledge of manufacturing techniques, job costing and testing of various types of coaxial, multicore and fibre optic cable assemblies. You will need to be a creative and strong relationship builder and possess the drive, enthusiasm and commercial acumen that gets results. - Business Savvy: High-energy, accountable and forward-looking; able to see the larger business picture to identify and diagnose problems and craft solutions; create dynamic business development programs to influence the future success of the company. This role is primarily based within the UK at our Hertfordshire facility but some ad-hoc travelling may be required.
Product offering: Bespoke Cable Assembly Manufacturing using Copper, Coaxial & Fibre Optical Cabling., Connectors Products, Tooling, Enclosures.
To the: Telecoms, Satellite, Aerospace, Broadcast, Transport, Defence Industries.
Package: DOE + Bonus + Holiday
37.5 hours per week
Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm

Electrical Production Technician

We are a well-established and leading manufacturer and supplier of cable assemblies, fibre optics, connectors and tooling to the Telecoms, Broadcast, Transport, Aerospace and Satellite Industries throughout the UK and abroad, with a commitment to providing and delivering an unrivalled quality of service to all their customers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Production Technician to join this expanding company working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.
As an Electrical Production Technician your duties will include:
- Involvement in all aspects of shop floor production for the manufacture of cable assemblies for the Telecoms, Broadcast, Satellite, Transport and Aerospace Industries.
An ideal Electrical Production Technician will hold the following skills and experiences:
- A good understanding of the manufacturing process.
- Have excellent ability in preparation and termination of many different types of cables and connectors, using various methods of soldering and crimping of coaxial and multi-core cables.
- Must be an adaptable and flexible person, and be able to work as part of a friendly team.
Salary is dependent on experience.
