Gem Cable Solutions Ltd is delighted to announce its new affiliation as a Corporate Supporter of Youth Talk

Our recent engagement with Jim Lewis, a key member of the Youth Talk team, deepened our understanding of their vital work. Youth Talk offers invaluable free and confidential counselling services to young people aged 13-25 in the St Albans District. They provide a safe space where individuals can express themselves freely, confident in the knowledge that they will be listened to without judgment. In aligning with Youth Talk, Gem Cable Solutions is initiating several activities to promote awareness and raise funds:

• We are hosting a Coffee Morning to discuss the importance of Youth Talk’s work and encourage donations within our company.
• Our Managing Director and his family proudly participated in the Ashridge Duathlon, contributing all proceeds to Youth Talk.
• Proceeds from the recycling of our cable waste are now directed towards supporting Youth Talk’s counselling sessions.

Additionally, after a decade of backing St Albans City Youth’s Orient team—a partnership that will conclude in May 2024 as the team members advance to new endeavours—we have redirected our financial support to Youth Talk. This commitment will fund 24 counselling sessions annually, furthering our impact on the lives of young individuals.

We are honoured to support Youth Talk and contribute to the well-being of our community’s youth. This collaboration reflects our continued commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
