The team started back in 2014. Gem Cable Solutions Ltd have sponsored the team since its inception until its disbanding which will be in 12 months time, when the team members will all be 18 and starting out on their next life chapter.

St Albans City Youth FC runs training for over 1300 players across a record 102 teams, with an age range of 6-18years for boys and girls and open age for their broad range of inclusive teams. They are forerunners at delivering extensive community projects across St Albans.
