The Right People; The team at Gem Cable Solutions have designed and manufactured a bespoke panel system to allow a new 64 pair connector to integrate to legacy equipment for one of its Blue Chip customers. The panels are UK manufactured at our new facility in St Albans, Hertfordshire, using our box build manufacturing cell, headed up by cell leader Tony Moss (pictured below)
The Right Product; This new interface panel can be easily and quickly terminated to the street side cabinet, reducing on site manpower requirements and also system downtime. Gem Cable designed a 320 pair, 256 pair & 128 pair 19” Rack mount panel which seamlessly integrates between the new and old equipment. Gem Cable are now in full production with these panels and will see them be deployed across the customers network over the next few years.
